The Book of Psalms Chapter 113 Verse One thru Nine

1 Hallelujah! Praise, you servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD. 2 Blessed be the name of the LORD both now and forever. 3 From the rising of the sun to its setting let the name of the LORD be praised. 4 High above all nations is the LORD; above the heavens his glory. 5 Who is like the LORD our God, enthroned on high, 6 looking down on heaven and earth? 7 He raises the needy from the dust, lifts the poor from the ash heap, 8 Seats them with princes, the princes of the people, 9 Gives the childless wife a home, the joyful mother of children. Hallelujah!

Today marks Day Three of our Novena for the repose of the soul of Charlie Kirk. As we gather in prayer and reflection, we turn our hearts to Psalm 113, a passage that beautifully encapsulates the spirit of humility, praise, and the celebration of the lowly qualities that Charlie embodied throughout his life.

Psalm 113 begins with a call to praise the Lord. “Praise the Lord! Praise, O servants of the Lord; praise the name of the Lord!” These opening words are a hymn of exaltation, urging us to recognize the greatness of God. Charlie Kirk was a vibrant example of someone who honored this call, dedicating his life to uplifting the voices of those who often felt overlooked. His commitment to sharing truth and fostering understanding aligned with the very essence of this psalm, which extols God’s sovereignty and compassion for the humble.

The psalm continues to highlight the Lord's care for the marginalized: “He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap.” This powerful imagery resonates with Charlie's mission, as he sought to empower individuals and inspire communities. He understood the importance of lifting others up, reflecting God’s love and grace in tangible ways. Through his actions and words, Charlie reminded us that every life has value and purpose.

As we pray for Charlie’s soul today, let us honor his legacy by embodying the principles found in Psalm 113. Let us lift up the fallen, advocate for the oppressed, and rejoice in the beauty of humility and service. We are reminded that true greatness is found not in power or prestige, but in love and compassion for our fellow human beings.

In these moments of reflection, may we find solace in our shared faith and commitment to carrying forward the ideals that Charlie championed. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to pray:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray.

Day Three Novena for the soul of Charlie Kirk. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20

09-13-2025 Psalm 113 v0109

**Let the Name of the Lord be Praised**

In morning light, we lift our voice,

To praise the Lord, our hearts rejoice.

O servants of the Most High King,

In every breath, His glory sing.

He stoops to see the lowly plight,

And brings the humble into light.

From dust He raises those in need,

With mercy's hand, He plants the seed.

The barren heart, once filled with woe,

Shall bloom anew, like flowers grow.

From ashes lifted, dreams take flight,

In God's embrace, we find our might.

His name awakened in each soul,

Transcending all, He makes us whole.

O wondrous grace, beyond compare,

In every moment, everywhere.

So let us echo heaven’s call,

To praise the One who cares for all.

In unity, our voices rise,

To glorify the Lord nobody can deny. Amen.
