The 1st Letter of John Chapter 4 Verse 7 thru 12
7 Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God; everyone who loves is begotten by God and knows God. 8 Whoever is without love does not know God, for God is love. 9 In this way the love of God was revealed to us: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might have life through him. 10 In this is love: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as expiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also must love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God. Yet, if we love one another, God remains in us, and his love is brought to perfection in us.
In 1 John 4:7-12, we encounter a profound declaration of the nature of God and the expression of His perfect love. The passage reminds us that love is not merely an attribute of God, but rather, it is the essence of His being. "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God," opens this intimate exhortation, emphasizing that true love originates from the divine. When we engage in loving relationships, we draw nearer to the perfection of God Himself.
John goes on to illustrate that those who love demonstrate that they are born of God and have come to know Him. This connects our understanding of love with our identity as children of God. As we share love with others, we are not just offering emotional support or kindness; we are actively embodying the reality of God's grace in our lives. This love, inspired by God's perfect nature, becomes a vessel through which salvation can be shared and realized.
The passage culminates in the declaration that if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us. This profound truth calls us to action. As we reach out to those who are lost or seeking salvation, our love can reflect the redemptive nature of Christ. When we love others, we become conduits of God's light and truth, opening pathways for the weary and the searching to encounter His grace.
In a world filled with uncertainty and despair, let us remind ourselves that love, rooted in God, is the antidote. As we strive to instill salvation in others through our actions and compassion, may we always remember that the perfect love of God casts out fear and brings hope to all those who seek Him. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.
At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to pray:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**His Love Is Brought To Perfection In Us**
In love’s embrace, let hearts entwine,
For love is God, and God is divine.
In each soul’s whisper, a truth resounds,
In loving one another, His presence abounds.
Beloved, arise, let kindness be known,
In every soft gesture, His glory is shown.
For God’s love is endless, it knows no end,
With open arms, all can befriend.
From heaven’s depth, He sent His Son,
To show us the way, salvation begun.
In seeing His face, we glimpse the pure light,
In loving our neighbors, we mirror His might.
No fear in love, for it casts aside dread,
In perfect communion, our spirits are fed.
When love dwells in us, His essence flows free,
In loving each other, we find unity.
So let us abide, through joyous refrain,
In love’s gentle rhythm, no heart shall remain.
For when we love deeply, we’re never alone,
In this sacred bond, His presence is known. Amen.
